Let me introduce you to my catchphrase "decisions with links". I define it as a decision made with additional useful information attached to it, extending beyond the original decision. It's the same concept as when you click on an internet link, knowing the goal is to take you somewhere else that's useful. My personal story, as an example is, me creating a weekly food menu in advance instead of a one-day plan. Taking this approach is a simple shift that ultimately preserves my social-emotional well-being. When I'm prepared, I'm not frustrated. When my husband asks," What's for dinner?" I'm not clueless - I'm calm, centered, and ready.
